Numbers & Letters

Reflective prismatic numbers and letters, while seemingly small and insignificant, can make a major impact, regardless of your company or industry. Despite their size, these highly-reflective markers are an ideal product for use where high visibility is required in darkened areas or at night. Their main function: to ensure a message is communicated, regardless of the light conditions. With two different grades of reflective numbers and letters (Engineer Grade and Prismatic Grade), we are sure there is an application for you.

Engineer Grades

Engineer Grade Reflective Numbers & Letters:

Key Features:

  • All markers have optical lens elements enclosed with a transparent resin that has a smooth outer surface. The sheetings are intended to have a similar appearance when viewed in the daylight or by retroreflective light at night.
  • The material is vandal-resistant and shreds when tampered.
  • Moderate viewing distance.
  • Applications should be made at temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • An ideal product for use where high visibility is required in darkened areas or at night.

Applicable Codes:

Complies with ASTM D4956 Type 1 Engineer grade reflective adhesive markers have a pressure sensitive adhesive which conforms to the adhesive requirements of FP-79 (Class 1) and LS 300C (Class 1).

Material:

Engineer Grade Reflective Sheeting on White Polyethylene Coated Paper Stay-Flat Liner.

  • Durability: Minimum outdoor lifespan of 10 years.

Prismatic Grade Reflective Numbers & Letters:

Low Temperature Application Engineer Grade Reflective Numbers & Letters:

Key Features:

  • Pressure sensitive adhesive.
  • The material is vandal-resistant and shreds when tampered with.

  • The sheetings are intended to have a similar appearance when viewed in the daylight or by retroreflective light at night.

Applicable Codes:

Meets ASTM D4956 Type 1, Class 4.

Applications:

This product is made specifically for low temperature applications. Labels can be applied at 10°F as opposed to standard reflective materials that have a 65°F application requirement.

Prismatic Grade Binder Sheets:

Applications:

This new binder format makes these numbers and letters ideal for transportation and storage. Perfect for Safety managers and Utility field technicians for on the spot applications to transformers and other electric utilities and equipment. These numbers and letters serve as a resilient, durable, and highly visible solution for any number of safety applications.

  • (16) 2.5”H characters on 7.875” x 11.37” page with 3 hole punch (0.25” dia hole) along left edge.
  • (70) 1”H characters on 8.5” x 11” page with 3 hole punch (0.25” dia hole) along left edge.
  • (156) 0.75”H characters on 8.5” x 10.875” page with 3 hole punch (0.25” dia hole) along left edge.

Material:

ASTM D4956 Type III & IV Micro-Prismatic grade reflective with pressure sensitive adhesive conforming to FP-79 (Class 1) and LS 300C (Class 1). Meets all other requirements set forth in ASTM D 4956 including Shrinkage, Flexibility, Liner removal, Adhesion, Impact resistance, specular gloss and Outdoor weathering (Types III and IV).

  • Application temperature: 50°F
  • Service Temperature: -10°F to +150°F
  • Lifespan: Minimum outdoor lifespan of 12 years.

Tabbed Prismatic

Tabbed Prismatic Reflective Numbers & Letters:

Key Features:

  • Tabbed along bottom edge allows label to easily be peeled away from liner for quick application.
  • High visibility reflective markers with optical lens elements enclosed in a transparent resin that has a smooth outer surface. The sheetings are intended to have a similar appearance when viewed in the daylight or by retroreflective light at night.
  • Greater viewing distnace than Engineer grade.
  • Applications should be made at temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

KVA Labels

Key Features:

  • Numeric labels in 2 and 3 digit formats made on reflective material to display KVA voltage ratings for equipment.
  • Resistant to oil, grease and water.
  • Aggressive adhesive backing for permanent application.

Applicable Codes:

Conforms to the requirements of FP-79 (Class 1) and LS300C (Class 1).

Applications:

Identify the KVA rating of transformers and electrical equipment with LEM KVA labels. KVA Labels display the amount of KVA or kilovolt-amps (a KVA equals 1,000 volt-amps.)
