Utility Marking Flags & Stakes

It is extremely important underground utility supply lines are identified before any type of work is conducted around them. With LEM Products, Inc.’s PVC marking flags, workers will be able to account for potential hazards as they navigate equipment or perform tasks near underground utility lines.

Identify high voltage underground utility lines and construction sites with LEM’s utility marking flags made of durable, UV and moisture resistant PVC material fused to 15.5 gauge stainless steel wire shafts.  Flags are 4”H x 5”W and shafts measure 30” high (other heights available upon request).  Marking flags are available in 7 blank colors and 10 pre-printed legends:

  • Buried Cable
  • Buried Electric Line
  • Buried Fiber Optic Cable
  • Buried Gas Line
  • Buried Pipeline
  • Buried Sewer Line
  • Buried Water Line
  • Buried high Voltage Line
  • Buried CATV Line
  • Natural Gas Line

Utility Marking Stakes

Utility Marking Stakes are another method of identifying buried utility lines as well as survey and boundary identification.

High-performance marking stakes are constructed with a symmetrical three-rib design intended to be malleable, allowing for flexibility and durability. This design is intended to combine elements of flat warning stakes with those of curved marking stakes.

Made of glass reinforced polyester composite, our marking stakes are available in a variety of lengths ranging from 62” to 90”. They also come in an assortment of colors, including white, orange, yellow, blue, green, red, and brown.

Pipeline Labels for Marking Stakes

UV and moisture resistant, outdoor durable vinyl labels are made to be applied to utility marking stakes to identify the type of buried utility line below.  These labels are made from cast vinyl with a UV laminate and have a durability of 10 years.

The labels identify gas, water, sewer and fiber optic cable utility lines.  They also incorporate the Common Ground Alliance’s 811 Call Before You Dig emblem.
