LEM’s complete line of pole marking systems provides the information necessary to locate and identify the pole in field conditions. LEM’s pole marking systems include embossed metal and polyethylene utility pole tags and other materials to meet your unique application requirements.

Aluminum Embossed Pole Tags

LEM Line Utility Pole Tags are made of 0.025” aluminum and are available in black characters on a yellow background in either embossed aluminum or reflective aluminum materials.

Available character heights: 1″, 2″, 3″ and 6″.
0.025” aluminum holders can be applied to any surface with nails or double stick adhesive.
Tags for 3″ and 6″ character heights come with 0.125″ diameter holes in each corner for individual mounting but can also be mounted in aluminum holders, vertically and horizontally.
Corrosion, UV and moisture resistant.
Impact resistant.
Metal holders conform to curvature of poles.
Reflective tags offer nighttime visibility.
Embossed characters are permanent.

Polyethylene Engraved Pole Tags:

LEM Line Poly Tags are made of UV resistant polyethylene material and are available in black characters on a yellow background.

1″ character height Poly Tags can be mounted in either of two holder styles:

0.025” aluminum holders can be applied to any surface with nails or double stick adhesive.
UV resistant black polyethylene holders can be applied with either nails or cable ties.

2”, 3″ and 6″ character height Poly Tags are made of UV resistant polyethylene material and are available as engraved black characters on a yellow background.

0.025” aluminum holders can be applied to any surface with nails or double stick adhesive.

Cross Arm Signs

Among the many utility pole tags and signs displayed on poles are the Cross Arm signs which warn utility workers of high voltage. These signs are made from heavy-duty polyethylene (HDPE) and are specifically designed with a score line to allow the material to flex or to tear apart for linear or stacked mounting on cross arms.

Available in two styles: engraved or printed.
Scored to allow material to flex or to tear apart for linear or stacked mounting on cross arms.
Extremely fade and weather resistant.
Black text on Yellow Background.
Round and slotted mounting holes for nailed applications.

Stock item #LXA75314EP is made of 75 mil HDPE and is compliant with the California Public Utilities Commission’s G.O.95 standards:

“Poles which support line conductors of more than 750 volts shall be marked with high voltage signs. This marking shall consist of a single sign showing the words “HIGH VOLTAGE”, or pair of signs showing the words “HIGH” and “VOLTAGE”, not more than six (6) inches in height with letters not less than 3 inches in height. A pair of signs may be stacked to a height of no more than 12 inches. Such signs shall be of weather and corrosion–resisting material, solid or with letters cut out therefrom and clearly legible.”

Screen-printed on aluminum or reflective polycarbonate.
With two mounting holes for nailed applications.
